What are the differences between the X9 and the 209? It appears that the tower and ballast tanks?

yep, you're right. Plus you can get a different paint job on the X-Series.
..and some of the interior trim, dashboard panels.

So if I run an X9 with no ballast I will get the same wake as the 209? Also how well does the tower fold down for road travel as well as a boat lift with a canopy?
