I just bought a 87' prostar 190 and I am looking for a repair manual. Can anyone suggest one or a site with tune up specs (spark plug settings, timing, etc.) ?

Thanks in advance,
Thomas

Congrats on your new purchase!! what kind of shape is the boat in??
you can try contacting indmar and getting a manual from them . or try the FAQ section on this website..I have found tons of info here..

I just put new plugs in my 89 ps190 and used "autolite 25" plugs gapped at .0035 ..and on the points have them at .00015 ( changing over to electronic ignition soon)

im far from an expert, im still learning tips and tricks from the other great folks on this list!

good luck!

I know it's a typo, but the plug gap is at 0.035 just for the record.

I ahve the original owners manual for an 87 190 at home (out of town now) when I get back I can scan the specs page and email it to you if you want it.

Download section is not working, but I think the same manual is in the "Knowledge Center" at www.mastercraft.com

What plugs work wellin an Endmar 351 1988 Prostar 190. I have used NGKs lately but just fouled another. Should I go back to the spec? MR43T. My mechaic swears by Motor craft ASF32c Stock # 415.
