While I'm fond of my MasterCraft bimini, you can't get one for a 97 anymore.

try www.johnsonbiminis.com

Great lakes are still making the bimini tops. They can do any factory top back to 1992. I just got one for my 1996 MC.

does the great lakes bimini require drilling into the fiberglass?

I posted a picture some time ago of my top, I'll try and find it and post it again.

I had to drill into the fiberglass in the front and back and then drill into the top of the side windows for the bracket. Was not bad at all.

If it's the same company that makes them for MC, you could probably get it made for a windshield mount. Of course, if it's for a 190, you'll need some attachment points in the front and that will require some drilling presumably. You can use jaw slides clamped to the rub rails for the rear attachment points. If it's an open bow, you can get straps that connect ot themselves and loop them around the grab rails in the bow. I guess you could get this kind of strap for the rear, too.
