A friend of mine on his very first time getting up. He watched my son do 1 handed toeside edges and touch the water with his free hand ...

Not a good crash pic but this is what lead to the crash ... the whole time he was doing this I just keep saying to my wife watch this , it's gonna leave a mark

Note that my friend rides goofy so it was the same side of the boat but he now understands the difference between hs and ts ... he won't email me the pics of the cartwheel that followed... imagine that :D

Just took a hard one of those about a week and a half ago. Ejected from the ski and the plate of my hardshell took a nice big chunk out of the top of my ski. Epoxied it back together but the ski still has a pretty big and ugly battle scar.

I had a nice one when I skied with you. I still remember standing in the water trying to pop my neck back into place. Took me about 3 days, but I got it. The worst part about it is that I have no one to blame but myself.

Rick, we loved the show... Sully's got it going on the Sky Ski. We had a great time. 3 boats, 5 families and 15 kids. Needless to say, I didnt get the tow time I'd liked to but enjoyed it just the same. I would've jumped into that X-Star of yours if I had the chance. I would've loved to get some free coaching on the hydrofoil. I guess that was your daughter driving Sully?? Didnt get to see her ride. Also wanted to see your hydofoil rack. We ate lunch in a cove and came back to your dock but your boat was in the slip and we were facing a long haul back so we headed out about 4:30. Maybe we can hook up another time. Let me know if you ever get toward us.
