I'll bet the Astros would've made it more interesting before folding. ;)

I'm not really a baseball fan, but man, that was incredible. This will go down as one of the greatest events in sports history (and I'm sure the Sox fans won't let us forget it ;)).
I've seen some spectacular performances, but this.... wow. I mean, if it had been one player in one game, that's big enough... but this was an entire team, 3 outs from elimination.... It's one of those events that I'm glad I didn't miss.
i.e. Chris Webber's "timeout", Kerri Strug's vault, hmm... what else?

What about Derek Whittenburg's "pass" in the '83 NCAA basketball championship game? I was a senior at N.C. State when they won it, and it was the greatest sports moment of my life.
I was also at Charlotte when Dale Earnhardt made his "pass in the grass" during the Winston. While I was never an Earnhardt fan, it was still a pretty exciting move.
