Had a fairly quite weekend as I had to work Monday. I did get a run in light rain early Monday before work. It was not suprising, but we had the water to ourselves. The rain started to clear around 8:45 and as we were leaving the cove around 9, Wally world was opening up.

Did get the boat out between some much needed Texas rain last night for fireworks on the lake.

We drove by Marine Creek on our way home from Granbury at about 12:30pm. One boat pulling out and water that was so flat.

Did you guys watch the fireworks on the Vine or on Eagle Mountain?

We were up at 5:45 monday morning and the drizzle was a little heavy so back to bed I went. Like you I had to work Monday.

14 hr road trip to Arkansas. Footing every day from 7:00 to 9:00 AM (Wallys were out everyday at 9:15 like clockwork). Miles of glass everyday. After 9:00 it was cold ones on the 'toon. Fireworks on the lake Monday night, and roadtrip back on the 4th. Awesone time with family/friends.

Harvey,

We were on the vine. By the way, I saw your post on DWB and thought we would have company in skiers cove Monday. No offense, but was happy not to see you or anyone else in the cove that day. We were the only ones crazy enough to ski and board in the rain.

Found someone to work for me and went to the lake with friends. I surfed and my knee felt great.
Got home and saw some fireworks with my husband. Never left the house though.... 8p

Eh, no offense taken. I had been out all day the day before so I was worthless Monday morning. I have no problem boarding in the rain it's the sore neck when coupled with the rain that keeps me in bed. Next time you see me on the vine stop by and say hello.

We were on grapevine last night too. Man the water is low, the prop hit the sand about 150 feet from the shore while we were going to get the truck and go home.

But it was a nice show. Great finale!!

I spent the 4th of July out on Lake Powell. We camped from June 30 till July 7th in Refelction Canyon. We had our own fire works show and one hell of a good time. The ski water was not the best but I usually expect that durring that week. We were able to wakeboard, wakesurf, and tube and still had an awesome time.
