My boss had a 2001 PS 190 310 predator 1:1 that had a 13x14 4 blade OJ prop on it. He sold the boat last week and bought a 2006 PS197 MCX 1:1. His spare 13x14 4 blade will not work on his new boat. I am considering purchasing this as a spare prop for my 1995 PS 190 LT-1 1:1. Will this prop work for my boat? Thanks for the help

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't!
Ask him to try it out on the condition, that if it does work for you, you will buy it!

Thanks for the help. I was curious to see if I was going to notice a change in performance (negative effect) and that it would fit the shaft.

I currently have a 13x13 3 blade OJ on the boat now. What is a 14x13 going to do to the performance?

Are you sure the 95 is not a taperd while the 01 is splined? Even so I would stick with the 13x13. You will be moving more water with a 14 but it still is only going 13" per rotation and you may not have the room for the extra inch diameter. The 190 1-1 is designed for a 13x13 if anything you may want to go to a 13x12 but other than that ACME 541 or OJ's equal should be the call. :twocents: Thanks for the help. In our case, better holeshot, less roostertail at slalom speed and a very small drop in rpm and mph. Hot water, lower octane gas and more people/gear onboard would cause more performance loss than the prop change, from our experience.

TMC are you speaking of Pitch or diameter? I am reading that the prop is still a 14 diameter with a 13 pitch? If so he will run the same but be turning a bigger prop. Do I have it bassackwards?
I see it has been edited! 8p now reads 13x14!In our case, better holeshot, less roostertail at slalom speed and a very small drop in rpm and mph. Hot water, lower octane gas and more people/gear onboard would cause more performance loss than the prop change, from our experience.

I was spinning for a few minutes, 13X14 at first, then 14X13 on a couple posts so, I quietly left the room and made my 1st home grown[my back yard] tomato sandwich to see how it would evolve! Gonna take me a nap!

Hey you got a double post! I asked about that the other day and everyone thought I was losing it!

For some reason, around here, I get a slow period for about an hour on TT only. The time period has moved about 1/2 hr later in the day each week, for about 6 weeks and having previously had dial up I get impatient! The MC site is the only one effected, as I loose stuff I've written trying to check other sites. I'm still learning!
