I'm looking for someone to teach my son how to wakeboard properly. He can get up and out of the water but he wants to have some crazy fun. We live in the Milwaukee area. I am aware of the Board Shop in Lake Geneva but that's a 2 hour drive from our home. Any suggestions?

Raging Buffalo wakeboard school, but that is in Fox Lake, IL.

Let me know if you want more info.

In the mean time I would sugest getting The Foundation" wakeboard series.... Not sure of the exact name. Just do a search.... Good viewing...

Also, normally closer and cheaper, gymnastic and trampoline lessons can be directly applied to wakeboarding for crazy fun.

"The Book" DVD series is also a good instructional video. There are also little illustrated pocket books you can get that you can take with you on the boat.

If you are looking for a camp. Gordy Bubolz Wakeboard camp is by far the BEST! I went there last year, and i am going there in 2 weeks. heres the website, i STRONGLY advise you to check it out. www.wakeboardingcamp.com

Second that^^^^. I went there in the beginning of June, just for a day, and learned enough to keep me busy the entire summer. I'm 40, so if Gordy can teach me, he can teach anybody. Well worth the day - I'll be going again next year.

I went to the site and I swear there is no mention as to where in the country it's located. Up North I assume???

I would look on www.wakeworld.com as you might find some local riders who do lessons.

Yes I did see the site that you mentioned. Looks cool. I'd like him to do it but my wife seems cold to the idea for some reason
