End of the New Zealand Summer

The New Zealand season ended very well for the Enzeel wakeboard team. The final weekend of March saw the Team compete at the New Zealand nationals on Lake Karapiro.

After a long summer of fun in the sun the Team won four national titles with all nine riders making top five there respective divisions.

Mastercraft NZ rider Talor Walters had the strongest run of his summer to convincingly win the Junior boys and looks forward to riding over the NZ winter to take on the strong field in the September WWA Worlds in Oklahoma. At 11 years old and his first season in Junior boys, Talor is setting his goals to move up to Junior Mens as soon possible.

Highlight of the weekend came in Junior Men’s, the hardest fought division. Rookie Nick Gibson laid down trick after trick to take the victory. The win follows up his 3rd place at the IWSF World champs last year in the Junior boys division.

Coach Kurt was very happy the results and now returns to The Wakeboard camp in Clermont , Florida for the Northern Hemisphere summer. Kurt will also be seen coaching around North American lakes in conjunction with Mastercraft dealers.
