iDrive Boats believes that boating is fun when it is safe for everyone on board. So, they designed a certification program to be utilized from the computer, from a classroom, or from the water. Their trained instructors and course material writers have over 100 years combined experience in boating. They are experienced boaters who know MasterCraft, understand the boats and deliver relevant information to new and experienced boaters alike.
The iDrive Boats’ curriculum was born out of necessity but designed by experts. It differs from typical education courses because its content is specific to the type of boat you own and the type of boating you do. The advantage of the program is that newcomers and veterans alike will find the information presented in an easy-to-digest format.
Whereas other courses are generic versions of the U.S. Coast Guard rules and regulations, iDrive Boats concentrates its study on what really matters and is specialized toward learning everything about your engine and boat. The iDrive Boats’ custom programs take you step-by-step through the physical operation of your boat, from learning how to turn on the blower (and what a blower actual is), to pull skiers and wakeboarders behind your boat.
The iDrive Boats on-site classroom course offers students a chance to attend a boating safety course at dealerships nationwide. This course is administered by a certified iDrive Boats Instructor in a simple to understand format and will prepare students for the exam which will be given at the end of the course. Upon successfully completing and passing the course, students will be eligible for a 15% discount with Boaters Insurance and will receive a certificate and card from iDrive Boats.
