![]() Freddy Sets Another Record At The Worlds! September 02, 2007 At the 2007 Waterski World Championships in Linz-Steyregg, Austria over the weekend, Freddy Krueger set a new record in the Men’s jump.
With a large crowd on hand in an atmosphere that was truly electric, only Jaret Llewellyn and Freddy Krueger remained on the dock to round out the men’s jump finals. And what a finish it was! Starting ahead of Freddy, Jaret landed an impressive set of 68.9m, 67.5m and a giant 70.7m (232 ft.) on his third jump…the audience applauded. On his first jump, Freddy kicked off with a 67.5m landing, the same as Llewellyn’s second jump. However, this would not be enough…jump two was all or nothing for Freddy. The entire crowd roared as Freddy soared to an event record 72.4m (238ft.)! What a perfect ending to the Championships in Austria.
Congratulations to Freddy!! ![]() ![]() |
