 Rusty Lands His Third 1080!!! July 11, 2007 No other rider has ever done more than one 1080. Parks Bonifay was the first to do it back in 1999 and Danny Harf finally matched Parks' performance seven years later. Since then, Rusty has cornered the market on 1080's by spinning the last three. Both Parks Bonifay and Danny Harf were in the infamous black XStar yesterday to witness Rusty's latest 1080, which was switch toeside, on Lake Minniehaha in Clermont, Florida. Not only has his XStar pulled all the top pros in Florida and beyond, but this is the third time a 1080 has been spun behind it; two by Rusty and one by Danny Harf.
Rusty was riding at 24 mph with an 83-foot line. His latest 1080 was filmed by Adam Dodd for an Australian television show.
