WaterSki Shootout Update: Marcus Brown Heats Up
June 14, 2007
With the first day of the 2007 WaterSki Pro Slalom Shootout in the books, MasterCraft and its athletes officially walked away as the champions of the day. Of course, that translates into even more pressure on Day 2, already in motion.

But as can be expected, MasterCraft thrives under pressure and apparently so does its athletes. The first event of Day 2 started with the “Cold 39” where competitors were challenged to test their “cold streak” and see how many buoys they could ski at 39 off without any warm up at all. With a level and cool head, MasterCraft’s Marcus Brown surfaced as the winner completing 6 buoys. Marcus was followed by a tie for 2nd with Chris Rossi and Terry Winter.

Next up in the day’s events is Fantasy Camp ProAm where clinic participants will compete alongside three skiers from each boat team in a Class F tournament for the chance to win gear and prizes, followed by the Team Head to Head.
