MasterCraft Pro Tour Returns to Monroe, WA
June 28, 2012
The MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour plans a return to Monroe, Washington this weekend - June 29-30, 2012 after a tremendously successful inaugural stop last year. In 2011, over 8,000 people came out to Lake Tye Park to enjoy the event's the first tour stop in the Pacific Northwest in over 15 years. And this year, it will be even more memorable in Monroe as this is the fourth and the "second-to-last" stop on the Pro Wakeboard Tour - creating an on-water environment for some of the most fiercest competition in tour this summer.
Be there to watch the sport's top riders compete in a series of elimination rounds while performing massive aerial maneuvers and technical rail tricks behind the massive wake of the new 2013 XStar. MasterCraft Pro Athletes - Harley Clifford, Rusty Malinoski, Steel Lafferty and Shota Tezuka are expected to show-off some of their "never seen before" moves in competition behind the XStar - vying for podium positions and points totals that will help to determine the next Pro Wakeboard Tour Title Champ.
In addition to all the action on the water; on land, fans will enjoy plenty of great food; athlete autograph signings; chances to win freebies; product sampling, and shopping at the most cutting-edge stores for water-sports equipment including boats, wakeboards, wakeskates, sunglasses and the latest in wakeboarding and surfing fashions. At the Pro Tour's entertainment stage, guests can catch athlete interviews, color commentators and interactive live music.
