 FACE TO FACE TOUR SET FOR SECOND SEASON! May 12, 2009 Current US Open Champion Marcus Brown, in partnership with sponsors MasterCraft Boat Company and HO/Syndicate, is stoked to announce the launch of the second season of the Face To Face Tour which will hit the road nationwide this summer. Starting June 1st in San Antonio, TX, the Face To Face Tour will be serving up a variety of opportunities for water sports addicts throughout the western US. Already on the docket are custom clinics, free ski days with a pro, public outreach days, celebrity appearances, autograph sessions, gear demos and “ocean front” property at this seasons pro events.
“We are hoping this tour can sneak some adrenaline back into the system and open some eyes by changing the image of Water Skiing. People will see the sport, at an extreme level, and realize that its more than just a family activity on weekends,” stated Marcus Brown, Pro Slalom Skier and developer of the Face To Face Tour. “When the water is glass, the sun is flaming hot, and you’re ripping high-G turns at 60+ mph, the rush is like nothing else. Everyone should have a chance to experience this.”
The Face To Face Tour will give the public a personal look at professional water skiers and a chance to actually ski and interact with these extreme athletes. The tour will allow people to learn to ski, improve their skills, interact with the pros, demo the new gear and check the latest in extreme films from water skiing and beyond. The tour includes everything but the kitchen sink: MasterCraft Prostar 197 behind a custom Peterbuilt house on wheels, the latest demo gear from HO/Syndicate and O’NEILL, pit area to chill out and recharge, drinks, apparel, accessories and prize giveaways.
