MasterCraft To Host Penske Racing Drivers and Featured On #2 NASCAR
March 07, 2008
On March 13th, Penske Racing Drivers Kurt Busch and Sam Hornish Jr. will be making an appearance at the MasterCraft headquarters. Kurt and Sam will be at the factory in the afternoon for an employee meet and greet. Their #2 and #77 show cars will also be on display for everyone to see-
Kurt’s #2 car at the March 16th Bristol race will also feature the MasterCraft brand logo. Check out the image on the right of Kurt’s Bristol car and the back deck lid…this is how our logo will appear during the race. When you consider that the Penske cars have the least signage of all the Sprint Cup cars, making them also the most attractive, having our company’s name on the car is quite an honor. Because the MasterCraft family is full of NASCAR racing fans, many of you already know something about the Penske drivers. But for those who don’t, Kurt Busch was a Sprint Cup champion at the very young age of 26. When Rusty Wallace retired, Kurt moved into the Penske #2 and has been one of the genuine stars of the circuit. Recently, he “pushed” teammate Ryan Newman across the finish line for Penske Racing’s first 1-2 finish in the Daytona 500.
Sam knows what it’s like to be in the winner’s circle for a world-wide famous race, but in his case it’s being the winner of the 2006 Indianapolis 500. Sam posted one of the 14 Indy 500 wins for car owner Roger Penske. Last year, Sam began a limited run in NASCAR, and has joined the team for his official rookie season this year.
